 The
SaniDrape™ System is a revolutionary, easy to use privacy
curtain that allows you to safely advance your infection control
practice.
Data supports that MRSA, MSSA, VRE and other pathogens can live
on polyester privacy drapes for days to months. These conventional
drapes are handled by both patients and staff as they are drawn
around the patient's bed. Studies have shown that polyester,
the material in most of these drapes, harbors bacteria such
as staphylococci and enterococci for months.
The "standard" privacy curtains are also expensive
and difficult to clean and replace, requiring the use of tools,
ladders, and make shift step stools to change them out.
The new SaniDrape™, a multi-piece curtain that allows
for immediate change-outs to reduce staff and patient exposure
to harmful pathogens, is easy and safe for staff to remove without
the use of tools, ladders, or make shift step stools. The SaniDrape™
connection points are easy to reach from the floor. The reusable
curtains come in a variety of attractive colors to match your
decor. Both the reusable and disposable curtains are lightweight
and durable.
